Girls are truly beautiful when they are happy and confident. One of the most important factors affecting their beauty is the skin. Although most of us know how crucial skin care is, we seem not to spend enough time on it. Especially, steps to take care of skin before bedtime cannot be ignored. Following are what you have to do before sleeping to have beautiful and strong skin.
1. Remove your makeup
Absolutely, you cannot go to bed with a thick layer of makeup on your face. Some people are too tired to wash their makeup off but this habit will ruin your face terribly. Moreover, your makeup cannot easily washed by water or cleanser only, you have to use makeup remover to really get rid of your makeup. 
First, saturate a cotton pad with makeup remover. You should choose the remover for both eyes and the whole face. Then, hold the cotton pad against your closed eyes and lips for 10-15 seconds to wipe your makeup off easier and clearer. Lightly clean your makeup, start from eyes to lips and then the whole face. Remember not to do roughly because this can cause wrinkle or ruin your skin. To be more careful, you can use a cotton stick to clean your mascara and eyeliner.
2. Rinse your face
You still need to wash your face by cleanser after using makeup remover. Definitely, carefully choose the most suitable cleanser to your skin type. Wet your face with warm water, then put a small amount of cleanser on your hand and drop a little water on it, rub your hands to make foam. Apply cleanser to your face in a circular motion for about 1 minute. Finally, let your face dry naturally or use a soft towel to dry your face.
3. Apply serum
Serum brings brightening, anti aging, or anti-acne benefits for your skin. On the other hands, it also shrinks your pores and partly moisturizes your skin. Put a bit serum on your hand back then apply it to your whole face. After that, rub your face to absorb serum effecticely.
4. Put on a layer of moisturizer (and night cream)
Although serum can moisturizer your skin, it is necessary to put on a thin layer of moisturizer on your face and your neck. Moisturizing is a crucial step even though you have oil skin because your skin cannot be strong if it is not moist enough. Then you can apply night cream on your face if you want
5. Put on eye cream and lip balm
Many people take care of their face well but the skin around the eyes. Actually, this part is easily ruined and encourage wrinkles or fine lines. Put eye cream on the skin around your eyes and massage in a circular motion.
Finnaly, complete all steps by apply lip balm on your lips. Your lips are covered by lipstick all day so you need to moisturize it well. You can also use honey instead.
Despite taking quite much time, taking care of your skin before going to bed cannot be ignored. If you keep this habit, your skin will obviously improve after some weeks.
